PRIVACYPOLICY

The whole point of habiBID.lol is a public board. Anything you submit for a listing — the name, the website URL or X handle, the favicon, the category, the amount paid, the resulting rank and the time of each flex — is displayed publicly and may be indexed by search engines, screenshotted, and reposted.

Do not put personal information in a listing name or link. If you would not want it on a billboard, do not put it on a leaderboard.

Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Card numbers, billing details, and any identity verification are collected and processed by them under their own privacy policy.

We never receive or store your card data. What we keep is limited to what we need to run the board: a payment identifier, the amount, the status, and the timestamp, linked to the listing that was paid for.

An email address is collected only if you provide one at checkout. It is used by the payment provider to send your receipt, and by us only to contact you about your listing — a moderation decision, a payment problem, or a reply to a message you sent us.

No marketing list, no newsletter, no selling your address to anyone. Your email is never shown on the board.

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights for basic, privacy-friendly traffic measurement: page views, referrers, approximate country, device type, and performance timings, aggregated.

No cross-site tracking cookies, no advertising pixels, no third-party ad networks, no fingerprinting for profiling, and no sale of personal data.

The “habibis watching” counter uses an anonymous, ephemeral session identifier — a random value that exists only to count one browser once, expires on its own after a short time, and is never linked to your identity, your listing, or your payment.

It counts humans in a room. It does not know which human you are.

Our hosting and rate-limiting infrastructure processes standard technical data such as IP address and user agent for short periods, to keep the site up and to block abuse, spam, and fraudulent payments. These logs are not used for advertising or profiling.

Data is processed by our infrastructure providers (hosting, database, rate limiting, payments), which may involve transfers outside your country under appropriate safeguards.

Listings and their payment amounts remain publicly displayed for as long as the board exists. That permanence is the core function of the Service, not an accident — an all-time leaderboard that deletes its history is not a leaderboard.

Payment and transaction records are kept as long as required for accounting, tax, and anti-fraud obligations.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability over your personal data. To ask a question, fix something, or request removal of a listing or contact details, write to contact@habibid.lol.

Note: we can remove or anonymise a listing on request, but we cannot un-publish what others have already screenshotted, cached, or indexed, and aggregate totals may remain.
